WORK

Creative Direction • Events • Content • Facilitation

Growing up a textiles artist I learned how to weave and create my own patterns on looms and canvases.

Now I weave stories, communities, and events.

Past work:

Sarah Bahbah’s DC Book Tour

With work spanning more than ten years, Dear Love is a collection of photographs that details the artistic and emotional world of Palestinian/Jordanian artist Sarah Bahbah.

Following an Instagram DM, I fully produced an event for Sarah with a $1k budget in 10 days. We brought together photographers, creatives, and women from all over the DMV to meet Sarah and share their stories around relationships, love, and heartbreak.

Summit Junto • Summit Series

Working with Summit Junto (a membership community for entrepreneurs, artist, doers, and dreamers) I supported, produced, or hosted a variety of events ranging from panels, to dinners, to workshops both in person and digitally. I developed community strategy from scratch - implementing a Slack community and local programming.

I also served as an executive coach & facilitator running intimate forums of 5-8 executives and entrepreneurs.

Watercolor Series with Marcella Kriebel feat. Dr. Fauci & Dr. Christine

Produced a Watercolor Workshop series with local DC muralist, artist, and author Marcella Kriebel. Hosted an intimate class with Dr. Anthony Fauci & his wife Dr. Christine Grady.

Vintage & Wellness Market

Developed, produced, and kicked off Yours Truly Hotel’s flagship event. Worked with 17+ local vendors (tarot readers, artists, homeware, clothing, and more). Featuring queer DJ Fish House Funk and Burning Man Artist The Disco Witch.

DC Pride Kick Off

Hosted a Pride kick off at Yours Truly Hotel featuring Citrine the Queen and partnering with local queer-owned distillery Republic Restoratives for a special pride cocktail benefitting the National Center for Trans Equality.

DC Bike Party - The Planetary Pin Up

Partnered with local group DC Bike Party for a bike party through DC ending at Mercy Me bar.

1300 bikers, 200 glowsticks, 10 miles, several wheelies, and 1 amazing dance party (complete with taco truck).

Irish Step Dancing Flash Mob

Partnered with the Celtic Throne troupe for a surprise irish step dancing flash mob in downtown DC - applying traditional dance to a pop mash up (from The Who to Rick Astley). See the full performance opening here.

….& To all the events I planned, photographed, and/or loved before

From a comedy fundraiser for Ukraine (that raised $40k in 2 hours), to retreats abroad, photoshoots, dinners, concerts, opening a wellness incubator, and beyond.
